Win a Copy of Protest Knits and Really Cross Stitch

It's been a while since I hosted a giveaway on my blog, but when these two books came in the mail I knew it was time for another one.

I don't usually get political on my blog. If you don't stand where I do, that's ok. That's why I love crafts: they connect us all in ways we never imagined. Even if you don't agree with me on social and political issues, we can still connect through yarn and fabric!

But if you do have similar opinions on today's world, you'll be interested in this giveaway: Protest Knits by Geraldine Warner and Really Cross Stitch by Rayna Fahey. (See the bottom of the post to enter to win.)

Both books are full of fun patterns that will help you deal with your frustration through crafting. (Isn't that one reason why we all craft anyway? It's so therapeutic!)

Protest Knits features patterns like the famous Brain Hat that emerged from the Science March.

There's also a pattern for all you nasty women out there.

Really Cross Stitch channels your anger through a tinier, more dangerous needle and features sayings like "I am very upset" and "A woman's place is in the revolution."

Do you need these books to survive 2018? If so, enter below and one winner will receive one copy of each book. Hurrah! Good luck!

  1. I've never knit or crocheted anything political - mainly because it takes me (literally) years to finish a project and so anything would be tragically out of date - but I do like the idea of using crafts subversively, especially the really cross stitch which made me laugh.

  2. If I don't win, I'm gonna burn this disco down.

  3. This cross stitch book would be a big change from the Teddy Bear Santas I've been working on for my granddaughter's Christmas stocking. But if I don't win, I promise I won't Protest (too much).
