Embroidered Holiday Ornament Trio

It's the first day of December, and our Christmas tree is up. Actually it's been up for almost a week. Ironically enough, this is thanks to my Jewish husband bugging the crap out of me the day after Thanksgiving.

A few months ago, I made these awesome embroidered holiday ornaments that my friend Liz (a.k.a. Cozyblue) designed. I made them so long ago that I actually forgot to put them on the tree until Alex reminded me.

Floss: DMC floss in Blanc

This one might be my favorite out of the three. I really dig the French knots and how the stars look at the top.

For the home ornament, I copied exactly what Cozyblue did with the neat little windows.

I love the way the center snowflake looks on this one:

For once, the back of my work wasn't super messy. I think that's because it's white and hard to see. Heh heh.

After I cut the ornaments from the fabric, there wasn't much room around them so I just glued down what I could and let the rest hang out loose.

Merry Christmas!
