Bobble Goodness! Little Cabin Knitted Sweater

You might remember that I was working on this sweater when I went home to see my family in Kentucky after my uncle, Billy, passed away. This sweater really helped me get through a tough time, and I'll forever think of him when I wear it.

And I plan on wearing it a lot! It really turned out great.

Pattern: Little Cabin by Caitlin Hunter
Yarn: Cascade 220 in Plum

I bought this yarn on sale at Black Mountain Yarn Shop, one of my favorite LYSs. It was one of those deals where you get an extra % off if you buy the entire stock, so I was more than happy to take this pretty plum off their hands!

The only change I made was to extend the length of the body by a few inches. I like my sweaters long, and plus, as my friend Jo pointed out, big boobs take up a lot of the length. So adding a few inches is always a good idea if you're busty.

If you knit this sweater, just be warned that the bobbles take foreeeeever. You'll live for those plain stockinette rows! But the outcome is just so stinkin' cute.
