I've never tried it, but I think it's a great idea for memorykeeping you can look at and enjoy every day!The Feisty Redheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15207363761544514630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6080555062528498485.post-4845827058310160152013-01-05T12:45:06.783-08:002013-01-05T12:45:06.783-08:00QUESTION: Do you know anything about turning a pie...QUESTION: Do you know anything about turning a piece like this into a pillow or something other than what it started out as? I have some of my mother's crewel work and would love to do it (pro would have to do it ... I can't sew :/...) but am looking for anyone who may have tried it. ABOUT CREWEL: My family has always loved it; said it's easier than embroidery. I'm a needlepoint lover learning to embroider so what can I tell ya? Found your blog through Zen of Making -- look forward to reading in 2013 (if you're still posting). Best to you! You could substitute satin stitch in places just to speed things up a bit.Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16245730088359572839noreply@blogger.com
